The thermostat can be set on the valves up to 38°C with a safety switch that can be bypassed to allow a maximum temperature of 48°C. This blending valve has Hot Water & Cold water pipe feed connected to the Hot Water and Cold Water inlets (sides) of the thermostatic valve. The Temperature is set using the Control Knob, resulting in water at the set temperature coming out the Bottom outlet of the valve to supply water at the controlled temperature a Non-Return Valve is incorporated into the design to satisfy water regulations in a bidet setting
